Other types of corporate support

Support from national or local companies is important to us. Here are other ways your company could provide support to Hearing Dogs for Deaf People.

Payroll Giving

Payroll Giving is a way for employees, who pay UK income tax, to donate a specific amount each month to a charity of their choice tax free. These donations are deducted from your pay before tax, meaning that each £1 you give, will only cost you 80p - or even less if you are a higher rate taxpayer!

Regular income is vital to ensure that we can budget and plan effectively and so, if you're able to spread the word to your employees, employers, family and friends, we would be most grateful!

If you're a company, why not put some information on your intranet, in your staff news or on a poster around the workplace to encourage your employees to take part. You could even go one step further and match fund your employees' donations so that we benefit twice as much!

Payroll Giving: How to...

For employees: Speak to your employer to see if they have already set up the scheme. If your employer already has the scheme set up, let them know that you would like to support Hearing Dogs for Deaf People and the amount you would like to donate.

For employers: If an employee would like to give a donation to us via Payroll Giving and you don't have the scheme set up, contact a payroll giving agency to set one up. You can find further information about Payroll Giving here.

Matching employees fundraising

Everyone knows how difficult it can be to fundraise for charity and lots of people are looking for corporate support to help them reach their target. Why not offer your employees the chance to fundraise for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People and support them by agreeing to match fund whatever they raise?

It will benefit us in a huge way, and it also encourages your employees to get involved boosting morale around the workplace at the same time!

Don't panic - you don't have to necessarily match the whole amount! Some fundraisers are experts and would be able to raise thousands, so often, corporates will agree to match fund up to a specific amount.
