Who are Pets at Home?

Pets at Home are the leading pet care business in the UK, providing pet owners with everything they need to be able to look after their pet - from food, toys and bedding, and grooming services, right the way through to veterinary care. They were founded in 1991 and now have over over 450 stores throughout the county.

Who are the Pets Foundation?

Established by Pets at Home in 2006, The Pets Foundation is a registered charity. They believe that every pet deserves a loving forever home and therefore, over the years, they are proud to have worked alongside rescue and rehoming organisations.

They have recently broadened their objectives and now also support charities who work alongside pets and the people who love them, which includes Hearing Dogs for Deaf People.

How are they supporting us?

We were absolutely delighted when Hearing Dogs for Deaf People was chosen as Pets at Home's Summer Fundraiser beneficiary for the second year! Throughout the month of July in 2022 & 2023, Pets at Home stores throughout the UK were busy raising awareness of our work, as well as raising vital funds.

In 2022, colleagues raised a whopping £630,000 and with their amazing fundraising efforts throughout 2023's summer fundraiser, they brought the total raised to an astonishing £1 million, which will support the training of more hearing dog puppies, who will learn the skills to transform a deaf person’s life.

We would like to say a huge thank you to all the Pets at Home colleagues who went above and beyond throughout 2022 & 2023, and to all the customers who kindly donated. The Pets at Home team took part in cycle challenges, wore branded t-shirts in stores, sold Hearing Dogs merchandise and encouraged customers to make donations.
