Out and about with Dilly

Welcome back to Dilly’s Puppy Pen!

As part of her training to feel happy and confident in busy public places, Dilly recently enjoyed a trip to her local town centre with Neil, her Volunteer Dog Trainer. 

Dilly’s adventure began with a trip to the shops, where she settled beautifully in the toy aisle, despite being surrounded by lots of intriguing and exciting items on the shelves.

It was then time to head to a nearby café, where Dilly once again showed brilliant focus and did very well not to get distracted by all the delicious food smells around her. She remained close to Neil’s side and showed how calmly she can walk on her lead and navigate everyday distractions.

The final stop of the day was the library! Dilly took the quiet environment in her stride and settled down on the carpet, while she calmly took everything in.
