Request a speaker – in person or virtual
We can now provide talks to groups in person or by video link and are taking bookings now.
If your group, club, school or business would like to find out more about Hearing Dogs for Deaf people, simply request a talk from one of our amazing volunteer speakers using the form below.
Our Hearing Dog talks are a great way to learn about our work, the incredible dogs we train and how together we help deaf people leave loneliness behind and reconnect with life.
Our informative and insightful presentations are delivered by our fantastic volunteer speakers and each talk can be flexible to fit your audience.
Our “visit in person” talks can be from 30-60 minutes and our video link talks normally last between 20-30 minutes. Both types of talk allow time for questions at the end. If you are new to setting up a video link group meeting, please take a look at our "How To" step by step guide here.
How to request your speaker
To request a speaker, please complete the form below and select the relevant option for the type of talk you require. Once your request has been accepted you will be contacted by the speaker directly.
Although we do not charge for our talks, we would be grateful if you would consider a donation to support our work. £50 is our suggested amount and we do appreciate that not every group will be able to give a donation. For groups having a visit in person, it would be amazing if the speaker’s travel expenses could be covered.
Thank you for your interest in a Hearing Dogs talk. We hope you will join us soon and enjoy learning about the vital work we do to change the lives of deaf people.
"We really enjoyed the talk by Mike and Claire. It was our first 'virtual' talk and was very popular. Watson the black Labrador puppy was mostly well behaved (!) and it was great to hear the difference these dogs make." - Dr Lis Rodgers, Doncaster St Leger Rotary Club
