The wonderful world of Winter

Let’s find out more about your gorgeous sponsor pup. Wonderful Winter has settled brilliantly into her new home and is melting the hearts of everyone she meets.

Winter is discovering that the world is a very exciting place for a little puppy. Every day is full of fun and games. She especially loves rolling on her back and receiving tummy tickles!

Your clever pup has already learnt how to do a lovely ‘sit'.

Responding to the ‘sit’ command is a skill which will come in very handy throughout Winter’s entire hearing dog training. For now, Winter is learning to sit before mealtimes, but when she is older, she will be asked to ‘sit’ in various situations, such as before crossing a road or at a busy supermarket checkout.

So, it is brilliant that she has already mastered this important skill!

When she is not being a sitting superstar, Winter loves to run around in the garden, especially when her friend Hidi comes to play…

Winter will meet lots of dogs throughout her training, so it is important that she learns how to develop her social skills and play nicely with other pups.
