Oscar is a confident, curious, clever Cocker Spaniel

Oscar’s confidence knows no bounds.

He’s so self-assured. As soon as he sees you, he flips over for a belly rub or ten. He just knows you’ll oblige because he’s so cute. He stares into the distance, contemplating his future as a life-changing hearing dog, with his legs all splayed at different angles. How could you resist?

Or, if he’s not in a belly-rubby mood, he’ll let you massage his ears. And what ears he has! They’re so soft and silky. They feel wonderful as you play with them between your fingers and you both… start to… feel quite… sleeeepy…

Oscar is also a very outgoing puppy. In between belly rubs and ear massages, he loves playing with everyone, human or animal. When he was very young indeed, he would play all day with the siblings in his litter, and when they’d had enough, he’d play with his mum.

Now, he plays with his toys. Whether rushing through a puppy play tunnel or chasing coloured balls around the house, he’s a happy chappy.

And when he’s finished playing? He loves crawling into his toybox, and going to sleep upside down, dreaming of what adventures to get up to next. Awwwwwwww!

He’s fun, he’s cuddly, he’s full of self-belief and he loves life. It’s all good for Oscar!

It’s very early days for Oscar but already he’s showing that he’s clever as well as confident.

This is because he’s really curious about the world around him. We noticed this from day one: he would always want to explore and find out what’s happening. His confidence is all part of this too – the world is fascinating to Oscar, and the more he can find out about it, the better.

Now that he’s into his training, he really enjoys getting treats when he gets something right. So, that’s plenty of treats coming Oscar’s way!
