Elmo's first haircut

Welcome back to Elmo’s Puppy Pen!

Your loveable sponsor pup has been getting fluffier by the day. Although we love the adorable teddy bear look, it was recently time for Elmo to experience his first proper haircut.

Before this haircut, Elmo visited the groomers a few times, to help him get used to grooming equipment and being handled. For being such a calm pup, he received lots of treats to help him associate grooming as a relaxing and positive experience.

Ah, what a smart boy! Now we can clearly see those cute facial features. 

Elmo will have regular grooming checks throughout his life to make sure that he stays happy and healthy.

In other news, Elmo has discovered that going on a walk is one of his favourite daily activities. It is a great opportunity to practise his ‘recall’ and there is always so much to see, sniff and explore – it is one big adventure!
