Volunteer in our restaurant, The Grange, at our site in Saunderton, Buckinghamshire.
Join our friendly team at The Grange Restaurant in Saunderton and help create a warm, welcoming experience for every guest. The Grange is a unique, dog friendly space designed with excellent acoustics to support people with hearing loss, while also acting as a vibrant hub for hearing dog partnerships, volunteers, donors and the wider community. By giving your time, you’ll help us raise awareness of Hearing Dogs for Deaf People and contribute to the smooth running of this special place.
What you’ll do
- Welcoming guests and help them find a table or locate their booking
- Serving food and beverages
- Clearing, cleaning and resetting tables
- Replenish counters and service areas
- Talk to visitors about Hearing Dogs for Deaf People.
- Support Duke of Edinburgh students if on a weekend shift.
What we need
- Ability to commit to a regular, weekly 3-hour shift – these are usually 9am - 12, 12-3pm or 1 – 4pm
- Friendly, sociable people who enjoy customer interaction
- Volunteers who feel confident working independently in a busy setting,
