How we can help you
If you have difficulties with your hearing, or know someone who does, we’re here to help. We have years of experience in finding tailored solutions for a diverse range of people, with different needs.
We understand the impact hearing problems can have on your life. Whether you need help with certain listening situations, feel isolated or alone, need general advice on what support is available – or just need someone to talk to – Hearing Dogs and Hearing Link are here to help.
We will work with you to establish exactly what your needs are and what kind of tailored solution would work best for you and your lifestyle.
Here are some of the services we offer:
If you have any questions about hearing loss, are seeking support or just need to talk to someone who understands – we can help. We offer information and guidance to those experiencing hearing loss or anyone wishing to support someone who does.
Community Support Volunteers
Our team of community support volunteers will provide you with peer support, through visits, email or letters, to provide personal and practical advice both to you and, where relevant, your relatives, close friends or colleagues. They also provide advice about local and national services and support.
We will work with you to determine if having an assistance dog to help you practically and emotionally would suit your needs. Our hearing dogs are highly trained to assist those with hearing loss, so contact us and together we can determine if this option is right for you.
We can offer you help and support to find the right technology or product to suit your hearing needs, through services such as our Hearing Hub or our online shop. Whether you need assistive equipment to help you day-to-day, or you’re simply looking for impartial advice on communication and hearing aids, we’ll work with you to find the best option.
Support from experts and people who have experienced hearing loss can be invaluable. We offer different types of group support that help make life easier, and we will introduce you to others who are facing the same challenges as you.
