This month in training: November 2026

Rain or shine, the training goes on! Whether it’s learning basic cues like 'Sit' or how to alert to important sounds, our pups have been busy. Jinx’s soundwork is getting stronger, Iggy joins the team, and Fizz has reached her first milestone.

1. Fearless Flynn

Public transport is no match for fearless Flynn!

In the final stages of his hearing dog training, Flynn has been showing just how confident he is taking on the unusual movements of the bus.

It's important that he feels comfortable traveling by different forms of public transport, in case his future deaf partner travels by bus or train.

Fantastic work from Flynn and his team.

2. Brilliant news for Brook

Big news as brilliant Brook has passed her Puppy 3 Star!

She's been busy travelling on public transport and the visiting shops and now is ready to take on her soundwork training.

This final stage of her hearing dog training is where Brook will begin learning to alert to important, and potentially life-saving, sounds.

3. Meet incredible Iggy

This little superstar is just about to start his early hearing dog training which is all about exploring the world around him and having fun.

From discovering leaves to trying out his big dog bed, there's lots for Iggy to be curious about.

4. Fantastic news for Fizz

Our clever cockapoo has been doing a sparkling job in puppy class and has passed her Puppy 1 Star.

Next up for Fizz is working on her recall and impulse control in the second sage of her hearing dog training.

5. Lupin is listening

An exciting part of soundwork training is working out where the sound's coming from before alerting to it.

Equally, leading to a sound is even more fun when you know it ends with treats, fuss, and lots of cuddles.

Just look at Lupin's waggy tail!

6. Aston is off to the market

Being confident in public places and around the busy distractions of new people, smells, and noises is a key stage of any hearing dog’s training.

Amazing Aston has been slowly building on his experience in public places and in the third stage of his hearing dog training, is taking a trip to the town centre in his burgundy training jacket.

Market day was the perfect chance for Aston to build his confidence around the hustle and bustle of the shops and all the tasty distractions.
