Sign up to attend or to volunteer at one of our Great British Dog Walks which take place on Saturdays and Sundays. A welcoming atmosphere and very enjoyable day are guaranteed for any willing marshals and other helpers.
Attend a Great British Dog Walk
Take part in a sponsored dog walk, in one of 15 beautiful locations across the UK. Bring your friends and family and canine companions and raise money to help deaf people leave loneliness behind.
If you ask people to sponsor you or your dog, and raise more than £50, we’ll send you a special Great British Dog Walk certificate to mark your achievement!
Volunteer at a Great British Dog Walk
Give Hearing Dogs a day of your time and help our Great British Dog Walks run smoothly! We are looking for volunteers to support us at each walk with a variety of tasks including marshalling the routes, registration, helping out at fundraising stalls and setting up and take down.
It's a great opportunity to meet hearing dog volunteers & partnerships and help us to raise awareness and funds.
"By helping at one of our events, whether it’s for a couple of hours or a full day, you will be playing a key role in raising much needed funds, gaining new supporters and highlighting just how amazing our life-changing hearing dogs are. Plus, you will get to meet lots of like-minded people as well as some of our fabulous dogs!" - Vicky Ryan, Community Fundraising Manager
Let us know what you've been up to!
Every bit of microvolunteering helps deaf people leave loneliness behind and reconnect with life, so do shout about what you've been doing on social media (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram) and get our attention @hearingdogs and @volteamhdogs.
You can download, print or share this certificate. Take a selfie or post a photo. Whatever way you want to tell or show us how you've microvolunteered is a good way!
Remember to use the hashtag #TeamBurgundy and we'll repost the best examples of microvolunteering in action.
