What is the Virtual Great British Dog Walk?

The Great British Dog Walk is back, and we have lots of sponsored walks taking place in beautiful locations across the UK. However, for people who don’t live near one of the walks, and who may not wish to travel, we have organised a ‘Virtual’ version that you can do anywhere, anytime.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Choose a walking route and distance that suits you – pretty country lanes, autumnal woodland, wide open spaces, whatever you like
  2. Choose your walking buddies – four-legged friends, friends and family, or even a solo challenge - whichever you choose, you'll be changing the lives of deaf people

  3. Pick a date between Saturday 28 August and Sunday 24 October (you can walk as many days as you like between those dates too)

When you sign up you will receive...

A free Great British Dog Walker bandana for your dog, a downloadable walker certificate, and a free activity pack (available for both children and adults)

When you walk, you help people like Jocelyne…

My hearing dog Kennedy does so much more than alert me to sounds. He gives me great confidence and independence, not only at home but also out and about, and he brings me so much happiness. He truly is a life-changer!
