Take part in a fun-filled sponsored walk that transforms the lives of deaf people. It is a great way to safely explore a stunning location with your friends and family (with or without a dog!) and help deaf people to leave loneliness behind.
If you can't make this walk we also have a virtual walk option – which you can do anywhere you like.

Waddesdon Manor: the important details
When: Sunday 17 October 2021
Where: Waddesdon Manor, Waddesdon, Aylesbury HP18 0JH
Walk start time: Walk start times available from 10 am to 1.30 pm. You will be able to choose your timeslot when booking.*
Cost: Adults: £10 online, Children (under 16): free
Distance: 3.2km (approx) family walk OR 5km (approx) longer route with some non-wheelchair friendly terrain
Minimum Sponsorship: No minimum sponsorship but if you raise £25 or more you'll receive a Hearing Dog wristband. Raise £50 or more and you'll receive an exclusive Great British Dog Walk mug or, if you raise £100 or more you'll receive free puppy sponsorship!
Terrain: Mostly good surfaces with some off road areas. The longer walk includes sections not suitable for wheelchair users. Some climbs.
Parking: Parking is available and free in specified Great British Dog Walk areas.
More: Explore the grounds of Waddesdon Manor, Owned by National Trust and managed by the Rothschild Foundation, it is one of the National Trust's most visited properties, with over 463,000 visitors in 2019. The grounds include café and gift shops, and stunning views of the famous parterre garden. In addition we hope to have our own Hearing Dog cake stall in attendance.

Because of the number of dogs expected, we do ask that dogs are kept on lead for the duration of the walk.
