Take part in a fun-filled sponsored walk that transforms the lives of deaf people. It is a great way to safely explore a stunning location with your friends and family (with or without a dog!) and help deaf people to leave loneliness behind.

If you can't make this walk we also have a virtual walk option – which you can do anywhere you like.

Canonteign Falls: the important details

When: Sunday 10 October 2021

Where: Canonteign Falls, Christow, Nr Exeter, Devon EX6 7RH

Walk start time: Walk start times available from 10 am to 1.30 pm. You will be able to choose your timeslot when booking.*

Cost: Adults: £10 online, Children (under 16): free

Distance: Shorter family friendly lower level walk. Not suitable for wheelchairs. OR Longer challenging route, including some steep climbs up to the waterfall. Not suitable for wheelchairs.

Minimum Sponsorship: No minimum sponsorship but if you raise £25 or more you'll receive a Hearing Dog wristband. Raise £50 or more and you'll receive an exclusive Great British Dog Walk mug or, if you raise £100 or more you'll receive free puppy sponsorship!

Terrain: Challenging routes. Not suitable for wheelchair users. Steep inclines on the waterfall route. Lower level route is flatter with a selection of meadowlands to explore.

Parking: Parking is available and free. Please observe car parking marshal instructions.

More: Explore Canonteign Falls, a stunning waterfall attraction in the heart of Devon. The Estate offers various landscapes to explore from the jungle-like tree ferns in the fern garden, autumn colours of the ancient woodland to the more open meadows, lakes and wetlands of the Lower Lakes. Children can explore the adventure playgrounds, complete with trampolines, wooden galleon, zip wire and mini assault course. There will also be a pop-up doggie market and a special children's activity trail to keep the whole family entertained!

Other Facilities: Toilets, café, pop-up dog market, gift shop.

Because of the number of dogs expected, we do ask that dogs are kept on lead for the duration of the walk.
