Meet Senna: Run, Senna, run!

We don’t think we’ve ever had a puppy quite like Senna before.

He won’t sit still, not even for a second. He’s bonkers!

Place him down very neatly to have his photo taken – nope, he’s gone. Quick, chase him! Right, try again… nope, he’s run into the flower beds…

And so it goes. Senna is just bursting with energy! It’s actually really lovely. His volunteer puppy socialisers daren’t leave any footwear around because he’ll be off with it. He ‘helps out’ in the garden by picking up cuttings, and they have to chase him around in circles to get them off him. He even recently ran into his own food bowl and ended up sitting in it. And they love it, he’s so entertaining and fun to be around.

We think he might get his energy from his dad, whom he’s named after (so that makes him ‘Senna Junior’). He was quite a character too. Perhaps that’s where our Senna got his love of chewing cardboard boxes from…?

Training progress: Focus, Senna, focus!

It’s fair to say that focus isn’t really Senna’s ‘thing’. He’s much more interested in expressing his joy of life. However, our trainers know how to deal with exuberant puppies, and we’re confident he’ll learn that, if he just calms down every now and then, he’ll get a treat. Meanwhile, his full-on character will no doubt entertain a deaf person one day, and give them the confidence to re-engage with the world around them.

Will Senna ever stop running? How many more flower beds will he find? Will he eventually realise it’s better to run around a food bowl than through it? Sponsor Senna today and find out!
