How your puppy sponsorship will help

You'll help a little puppy become a life-changing hearing dog. They'll stop a deaf person feeling isolated and alone, and alert them to sounds they can't hear including the doorbell and the fire alarm.

How your gift will change a deaf person's life

This Mother's Day gift will not only help train a puppy, it will completely transform the life of a deaf person - just like Peter...

Mother's Day FAQs

  • How do I take up the Mother’s day offer?

Simply follow the steps to sponsor a puppy as a gift for your Mum. At the check-out you can write a personalised message, which will be included in your card. If you order before 23.59 on 3 March, your loved one will receive their welcome pack in time for Mother’s Day*. If you order between 4-10 March, you can download a gift certificate for Mother’s Day, and their welcome pack and personalised card will follow shortly after.
*Dependent on current Royal Mail service operation.

  • What do I get in the Mother’s Day promotion?

We’ll send a fabulous welcome pack with information on your chosen puppy and a cute cuddly toy, as well as a personalised Mother’s Day card so you can write your own special message. Your message can be added during the checkout process. We’ll send regular updates throughout the puppy’s training, and they’ll have access to our online Puppy Pen where more updates, including photos and videos can be seen.

  • Will the welcome pack arrive before Mother’s Day?

Once we have processed your sponsorship, it should take around seven working days for your welcome pack to reach the address provided. Our cut off for Mother’s Day is 23:59 on 3 March. We use an untracked service provided by Royal Mail, who we rely on to ensure that our welcome packs arrive safely and within seven working days. If your welcome pack has not arrived after seven working days, please email the team on puppy.sponsorship@hearingdogs.org.uk

  • Can the welcome pack be sent directly to me instead of the gift receiver?

Of course! During our check-out process, you can choose to have the welcome pack delivered to yourself instead of the gift receiver. If you need to double check the postal address for the welcome pack, please email the team on puppy.sponsorship@hearingdogs.org.uk as soon as you can and they can advise you further.

  • I haven’t received a confirmation email?

If you haven’t received a confirmation email, please check your inbox/junk folder before contacting the team. If a confirmation email has not arrived within 24 hours, please contact puppy.sponsorship@hearingdogs.org.uk with your name, address and pup sponsored and they’ll be able to check your sponsorship for you.

  • I haven’t received a certificate/where can I print the certificate?

Your certificate should have arrived with your confirmation email. If this has not been received after 24 hours, please email puppy.sponsorship@hearingdogs.org.uk with your name, address, and the name of the pup you sponsored, and the team will be able to send you a digital certificate of your sponsored puppy.

  • Is the packaging discreet?

Our packaging for a puppy sponsorship is a brown box with pawprints and our puppy face logo. The packaging does not have the Charity name or logo. If you are buying a present as a surprise, we strongly recommend that you supply an alternative address for the delivery of the welcome pack.

  • Is the soft toy the same as the breed I’ve sponsored?

We have carried out extensive research and discovered that our supporters prefer our very fluffy soft toy that we call ‘Crumble’. This is the only soft toy we have for our sponsorship scheme as this enables us to save money and ensure that we invest more of your donation in training more life-changing hearing dogs. You can find other breed specific toys to purchase separately in our online shop.

  • Can I change the delivery address/I’ve sent this to the gift receiver instead of me?

You can email the team at puppy.sponsorship@hearingdogs.org.uk with your name, your address, and the address of where the welcome pack needs to be delivered. However, if your pack has already been dispatched from our warehouse, unfortunately we won’t be able to change the address.
