Your gift to deaf people
Gifts in Wills can help us achieve our goal: to see a time when no deaf person feels alone.
Did you know that over half of all hearing dogs are funded thanks to gifts in Wills?
Many deaf people suffer from isolation and loneliness. Dogs provide love, support and companionship. Add in the ability to alert deaf people to sounds they cannot hear and you have something truly magical... a hearing dog.
This was the insight that inspired Bruce Fogle and Lady Beatrice Wright to found Hearing Dogs in 1982.
Since then, we’ve trained over 2,300 hearing dogs and transformed the lives of deaf people across the UK. It’s an amazing story, but it’s only just started.
Today, demand is great. Deafness is rising. We receive no central government support, and over half our donations are from gifts in Wills through the kindness of people like you.
So we will need help to realise our goal: to see a time when no deaf person feels alone.
