Many deaf people suffer from isolation and loneliness. Dogs provide love, support and companionship. Add in the ability to alert deaf people to sounds they cannot hear and you have something truly magical... a hearing dog.

This was the insight that inspired Bruce Fogle and Lady Beatrice Wright to found Hearing Dogs in 1982.

Since then, we’ve trained over 2,300 hearing dogs and transformed the lives of deaf people across the UK. It’s an amazing story, but it’s only just started.

Today, demand is great. Deafness is rising. We receive no government support, and over half our donations are from gifts in Wills through the kindness of people like you. Indeed, over half our hearing dogs are trained thanks to gifts in Wills.

So we will need help to realise our goal: to see a time when every deaf person who needs a hearing dog gets one.

Did you know that over half of all hearing dogs are funded thanks to gifts in Wills?

These three wonderful supporters have decided to leave a gift in their Will to help a deaf person like Helen, and you could too.
