Could you give Kirk the perfect forever home?

Posted by Matt Sadler

It is very rare that we rehome one of our dogs, but sometimes a pup is better suited to life as a well-loved pet.

Kirk is a two-year-old, male, golden coloured Show Cocker Spaniel, who is looking for an adult-only home with someone who has the patience and understanding to care for and nurture a dog who has some specific needs.

Kirk is a loving boy, but because he sometimes feels unsure or anxious, he needs a quiet, slower-paced home with few visitors and no other animals. His ideal home would be with someone who has experience of dogs and their behaviour, and who is able to manage his environment and his needs. He loves his routine and going for his daily walks.

Kirk needs someone who will spend time gently bonding with him, and who can make him feel secure, relaxed and happy. When he’s relaxed, he loves nothing more than to chill out and could happily sleep for most of the day!

Kirk is neutered and has no health conditions.
