6 adorable videos to make your day

Posted by Matt Sadler

Celebrate some wonderful news with the very clever Ada, go behind the scenes at Cocker Spaniel Piper's training class and much more. It's time for those cute videos.

1. An update on beautiful Ada

The lovely Ada is growing up so quickly, and she is celebrating passing the second stage of her hearing dog training – the Puppy 2 Star!

Ada has already been gently introduced to public places like garden centres and quiet shops, and she will now build on these experiences by training more often in the environments she will visit with her future deaf partner.

This is also the stage of training where Ada will travel by public transport, as she gets used to all the new sounds and unusual movements. Congratulations, Ada!

2. Nine videos to make you smile, starting with five-week-old cocker spaniels Tucker, Tia and Tessa.

Also featuring a very excited Alfie out for a walk, little Seeker's big appetite, Hugh, Tommy and Bigbury enjoying their dog-friendly treats, and more.

3. It's teeth brushing time for Zebedee!

Our lovely Labrador, Zeb, went to a handling workshop recently where he visited our Canine Healthcare Team at their various stations to practise the different experiences he'll go through as he grows up.

First up is the vet with his pretend stethoscope and general body checks before Zeb heads over to the toothbrushing station.

This is where his trainer and volunteer go through the steps of doggie dental care with some delicious chicken toothpaste and treats for Zeb to get used to having hands near his mouth and getting his gums rubbed - we think this might have been Zebedee's favourite station to visit.

Finally, it was off to the groomers to sniff out all the tools and get a little brush down to end the session.

4. 90 seconds of fun, fun, and even more fun - starting with puppy Seeker discovering the joys of a paddling pool

Ziggy is very happy with his birthday present, River meets River, Enzo does so well at a garden centre, and much more.

Get ready for lots of energy, waggy tails, and Gerry's snoring.

5. Perfect Piper's puppy training class

We popped along to Piper's puppy training class to see how she is getting on in the first stage of her hearing dog training.

Piper’s class was all about practising her basic cues and she showed off her lovely sit and wait, as well some wonderful focus, despite the distractions of other dogs.

All of Piper’s practise has well and truly paid off and we are so proud to let you know that she is now celebrating passing the first stage of her training!
6. Time for one final montage of very cute videos, and little Shadow has popped by to say hello

Miniature poodle Red is having the best time at the beach, hearing dog Bow is very excited to go for a swim, Fig is hinting that it might be dinner time, and more.
