Professor Richard Ramsden is one of the UK's most distinguished Ear Nose and Throat surgeons, with a world-leading reputation in cochlear implantation.

Professor Ramsden was delighted to be awarded an MBE in 2015. He brings to the charity's Board of Trustees, not only experience of the field, but also of charity governance.

Professor Ramsden lives in Oxfordshire, and has a busy life in retirement, partly thanks to his grandchildren. He is dog lover and has a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel called Rosie.
