Volunteers’ Week 2012 – a big ‘thank you’

Charities across the UK will this week say ‘thank you’ to their loyal force of volunteers – and we are no different at Hearing Dogs for Deaf People.

Throughout Volunteers’ Week 2012 (1-7 June) we will been saying a big thanks to all of our volunteers for their dedication and unwavering commitment to changing the lives of deaf people across the UK.

Hearing Dogs for Deaf People has over 1,200 volunteers overseeing a whole host of responsibilities. From puppy socialising to van driving, our volunteers’ work covers many areas, all of which are vital to making us the centre of excellence that we are today.

Since the Charity was launched in 1982, we have relied on the support of our volunteers – all of whom have played a part in helping to create 1,600 life-changing hearing dog partnerships, giving our deaf recipients greater independence, confidence and companionship.

Please join us in saying a huge ‘thank you’ to our amazing volunteers.
