The adidas Silverstone Half Marathon 2012
Take part in the adidas Silverstone Half Marathon 2012 on Sunday 11 March – a top UK running event at the historic Silverstone motor racing circuit. This event is a great warm up race prior to the Virgin London Marathon.
We have a number of Charity Bond places available and ask you to pledge to raise a minimum of £200 in sponsorship. Applications for charity places close on 24 February.
The Virgin London Marathon 2012
We unexpectedly have five Gold Bond places available for the Virgin London Marathon 2012. Join our team – this year including MC Harvey from ‘So Solid Crew’ – and be a part of one of the most famous running events in the world on Sunday 22 April.
A pre-race event will be held at The Grange (our Buckinghamshire Headquarters) in early February 2012, which includes a full tour of our site and a demonstration of our dogs’ work. Entrants in the Silverstone Half Marathon will also receive an invite. After the marathon we put on a fabulous post-race event at the Institute of Directors, in London's Pall Mall, where you will have the chance to have your picture taken with one of our hearing dogs.
We ask supporters to commit to raising £2,012 to secure one of our Gold Bond guaranteed charity places. Applications for charity places close on 10 February. Alternatively, if have been lucky enough to gain a place through the public ballot for the Virgin London Marathon we’d love to have you in our team. There is no minimum sponsorship pledge for runners with their own places.
BUPA London 10,000
We have some places available in this wonderful event on Sunday 27 May. The route takes in many of London’s famous sights, including Big Ben, The London Eye, The Millennium Bridge and St Paul’s Cathedral, before finishing in The Mall.
We ask for a minimum pledge of £200 if you wish to join our team.
BUPA Great North Run 2012
Join over 54,000 runners in the world's most iconic half marathon, the BUPA Great North Run, on Sunday 16 September, in Newcastle.
Hearing Dogs for Deaf People has charity places available and asks runners to pledge to raise a minimum sponsorship of £300.
