30th anniversary: the final countdown

Time is ticking ahead of what is going to be a huge year of celebrations for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People when we celebrate 30 years of excellence.

Launched 30 years ago at Crufts, we will be returning to the scene of our birth with a big presence at Crufts 2012. Follow all the fun and celebrations taking place at Crufts via The Dog Blog and on our Facebook and Twitter feeds or come and say hello to us in person at the NEC. We'll be in Hall 2, Stand 52 throughout the show.

Following on from Crufts, we will be holding many fundraising events right across the UK for you to get involved in and help raise funds to support our vital work. Keep an eye out for the soon to be launched 30th year section on our website, to stay up-to-speed with all the events taking place in 2012. You will also be able to download a special fundraising pack to give you ideas on how you can raise money for the Charity in your own special way.

In our first 30 years you have helped us create over 1,600 partnerships between hearing dogs and their deaf recipients. Take three minutes of your day to watch a inspirational story about just one of them – Foggy and Simon Moore. We hope you'll help us create many more amazing partnerships in 2012 and beyond.
