Michele brings an outstanding 20 year career in senior management, commercial expertise and financial acumen to the organisation. She has a proven ability to motivate and inspire through a modern and encouraging leadership style.
A flair for successful team management combined with a professional and down-to-earth approach has meant that Michele has been highly respected in senior roles throughout her career.
Previous board level appointments include Procurement, Marketing, and Commercial Director positions with well-known brands and FTSE250 organisations.
Producing strategic proposals and negotiating at a senior level play to Michele’s strengths, perfectly complementing her talent for ensuring scarce resources are used to their fullest extent and within budget.
Living very locally to the Charity’s headquarters in Buckinghamshire, dog-loving Michele has admired the work of the organisation for many years.
It was a happy coincidence that while researching the Charity’s website for volunteering opportunities, Michele happened upon the advertisement for the role of chief executive!
Michele says: “The opportunity to build on the firm foundations of this tremendous charity and transform it into a nationally recognised household name is a terrific honour and a challenge I relish.”
