Charity Announcement
The Charity has been most fortunate to have had Ian Ford as its Chief Executive for the last five years, but sadly he left the organisation on 31 July 2011.
Ian had been our Chief Executive since May 2007. Before that, he held the position of Finance Director. Throughout his time with Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, Ian worked tirelessly and did a great deal of extremely valuable work for the Charity, particularly with regard to its operational structure and he leaves it on a firm financial footing.
The Trustees are most grateful for his major contribution to Hearing Dogs for Deaf People and wish him well for the future.
The appointment of a new Chief Executive will follow in due course. In the meantime, the Charity would like to reassure everyone that it remains committed to being a centre of excellence in deaf awareness and a world-leader in training hearing dogs. It is focussed on increasing the number of dogs that can be trained each year in order to meet the continually growing demand for its life-changing service.
Faith Clark
Chairman
