Virgin London Marathon Golden Bond places still available from Hearing Dogs for Deaf People

Buckinghamshire based charity Hearing Dogs for Deaf People are offering golden bond places in the Virgin London Marathon 2011!

Entrants who sign-up to become part of Hearing Dogs’ running team merely have to pledge to raise £2,000 minimum sponsorship. (The Charity’s running mascot ‘Buddy’ is hosting a bespoke Facebook page in order that the team can support one another in their fundraising efforts). The benefits include a specially designed ‘Buddy’ running vest and a pre-race reception at The Grange, the Charity’s Head Quarters in Saunderton. Runners will be given a full tour of the training centre, including demonstrations by hearing dogs and a chance to meet some hearing dog puppies. The reception will also include a Q & A session from a qualified sports coach.

On race day there will be a specially designated point for family and friends to cheer on the Hearing Dogs team followed by a fabulous post-race event held at the Institute of Directors, Pall Mall, where the team are treated to a sports massage, as well as refreshments and a Hearing Dogs marathon running medal.
