A pre-race event is held at our training centre in February 2012 including: a full tour of our site including kennels a demo of how our dogs work, a chance to meet some Hearing Dogs pups as well as a Q & A session with a qualified sports nutritionist.
A fabulous post-race event is held at the Institute of Directors, in London's Pall Mall, on race day, with bespoke Hearing Dog medal, sports masseurs, refreshments and some of our dogs that you will have your photo taken with!
We do pre-allocate places for 2012 Virgin London Marathon (minimum sponsorship per place is £2,012).
If you are lucky enough to discover that you have been successful in gaining a place through the public ballot please do consider running for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People. Just like the Gold Bond Place Runners you will receive a personalised support pack and invitations to our pre-race day and our on-the-day race reception at the Institute of Directors – we would love to have you join our team! No minimum sponsorship pledge is required from runners with their own places.
