Clare Pearson is the daughter of one of our recipients Josy Pearson with HD Arthur – who is absolutely fantastic. Josy takes him to as many events as she can and she accompanies a speaker to as many talks as she can. Clare raised £637.77 for Hearing Dogs by running the Baxters Loch Ness Marathon on October 7th 2007.
Josy says:
"Clare has wanted to run a marathon and we both appreciate the tremendous difference that Arthur has made in my life. It was a brilliant day, we saw her off at the start and were there to cheer her coming over the finishing line at Inverness in 3 hours 50 minutes 40 seconds. This is our way of showing our appreciation not just for Arthur who is beyond price; but also for the wonderful back up and unstinting help given by every single member of the team at Cliffe".
