We have charity assured places available in some of the major running events in the sporting calendar.  Check out our running events section below.

There are loads of other fun runs, 10Ks, half and full marathons around the country.

Great South Run Great South Run

The historic naval city of Portsmouth is the backdrop to Britain's biggest and most popular 10 mile road running event, the Bupa Great South Run.

We will be there on the day to meet, greet and congratulate our runners!

Great North Run Great North Run

This event continues to increase in popularity every year with Hearing Dogs supporters. Hearing Dogs charity places are available for a minimum sponsorship level of £300.

We hold a pre-race event at our Yorkshire training centre in July and a post-race reception with masseurs on the day where you'll also have the chance to meet working hearing dogs with their deaf recipients. Whether you are a charity runner or an "own place" runner Hearing Dogs will make sure you have a fantastic experience.

adidas Silverstone Half Marathon adidas Silverstone Half Marathon

The adidas Silverstone Half Marathon is a top event organised by the same team responsible for the world famous Virgin London Marathon.  Public entries to this event are now open and you can register for a place at www.adidashalfmarathon.com

We have charity places available for £200 minimum sponsorship but we'd love to hear from own place runners too!

As a member of our team you will benefit from a support pack which includes: -

  • A tour of our head quarters in Saunderton, Buckinghamshire
  • Q & A session with a qualified sports nutritionist
  • A demonstration of how our dogs work
  • A post-race reception at the Silverstone Charity Village
  • Fancy dress kit, bandana and running vest

GB Trans Britain GB Trans Britain

Starting in Scotland, finishing in Wales and taking in the best of what England has to offer, this six day, six stage foot race is truely the first multi stage Ultra event for which "Britain" means something.

We want you to enjoy this experience and for you to arrive at the start line in the best possible shape each day, BUT this is a tough race, the equivalent of six marathons in six days, climbing up to five peaks in a day and three legs of Ultra distance - no shortage of dragging rights will be earned here!

Virgin London Marathon 2011 Virgin London Marathon 2011

Join the Hearing Dogs' team and be a part of one of the most famous running events in the world. The historic 26.2 mile route through the city of London takes in some world-famous landmarks.

We have Golden Bond places available for 2011 (we do ask supporters to commit to raising £2,000 to secure a guaranteed charity place).  

A pre-race event is held at our Buckinghamshire training centre in February and a fabulous post-race event is held at the Institute of Directors, Pall Mall, on race day.
