Marilyn joined Hearing Dogs 9 years ago and has been working hard to raise awareness of the Charity and raise much needed funds within her area, but because of the huge area she covers she needs the help of more supporters.

Marilyn says: “I am really keen to hear from people who can spare some time to organise their own events in their own local areas, such as Street/Store collections, Sponsored Walks and Stalls at local Fetes and events.”

I am fortunate to have the continued support of some very loyal and long standing Supporters and Volunteer Branches which include Bristol & North Somerset, South Gloucestershire, Forest of Dean, Stroud & Gloucester, Gwent & Cardiff Branch, Cheltenham and Shropshire Hills, however to continue our work of training more Hearing Dogs we need to increase the amount of people fundraising for us and we need to open more Branches. I would also like to hear from people who work for a Company or belong to a Group who operates a Charity of the Year Scheme where Hearing Dogs could become a candidate. If you would like to help out or just come along and meet some Hearing Dogs join us at the events listed below.

Westonbirt Arboretum has one of the most spectacular collection of trees in the world. Come and join us for this lovely sponsored walk and take in the beautiful scenery.
