Currently living with: Jilly and David Hay in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. Jilly and David are long-standing puppy socialisers and are also helping to train another sponsorship puppy, Sunny.
Enjoys: Playing with Sunny and Jilly & David’s own dogs, Billy the lurcher & Rufus the Jack Russell, eating all Jilly’s best flowers in her garden, chewing the occasional chair leg and rummaging in the large toy box to find bones, soft toys and tennis balls.
Training progress: Eden attended his first puppy class at nine weeks of age and coped very well. He is learning quickly – helped by the fact that he loves his food so responds well to training treats - and already knows the “sit” and “down” commands.

Eden's Journal – early November 2011
Eden is progressing well. He is just over five months old now and is learning new things on a daily basis.
We are very proud of him because he passed his Bronze Good Citizen’s Award at the beginning of November which was a great achievement for one so young. He’s a bright boy, and growing up fast – in fact he is growing very quickly... and teething. He’s particularly fond of his smoked bones and chews.
A few weeks ago, he had an assessment which included a walk in the park by the river. All went well until we were ready to go home when he lost his footing and toppled into the river in the middle of a large number of swans! I’m not sure who was more startled.
Fortunately it didn’t look as though Eden enjoyed the experience too much so hopefully he won’t be leaping in of his own accord in future!

Marley is a sociable pup and loves playing in the garden with other dogs, and with his favourite toy, a black and white teddy. Marley enjoys his training and loves learning new commands, especially when he’s rewarded with a fuss and a cuddle.

Nellie is a cheeky puppy who’s great fun to be with and loves playing with people and other dogs. She’s already progressing really well with her training and enjoys being rewarded with a tasty treat.
